Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid, 50/50 Split)
Contract: Inside IR35
Rate: 450 - 500 per day
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cambridge on a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python, Terraform, and Ansible, along with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals. Experience with NetBox would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Network Engineers to deploy and manage infrastructure efficiently.
Leverage Python, Terraform, and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to ensure a smooth handover to the internal team.
Support the deployment and maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues as they arise.
Implement and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
Utilize NetBox (if applicable) to enhance network visibility and management.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in Python, Terraform, and Ansible within a DevOps environment.
Strong networking fundamentals to support the Network Engineering team.
Hands-on experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure automation.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to start delivering from day one.
Ability to document processes and conduct knowledge transfer sessions effectively.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with NetBox for network automation and management.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
