Software Delivery Manager Cambridge / WFH to £85k

Are you a tech savvy, Agile, Software Delivery Manager?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role working on real-world problems within a highly successful and scaling SaaS tech company, the core product is an AI and Machine Learning platform that is used within the automotive sector for a range of purposes e.g. engine calibration.

As a Software Delivery Manager you will focus on driving efficient and predictable software delivery through meticulous planning, process optimisation and effective communication across product and engineering teams to develop comprehensive project and capacity plans, including well-defined scope, realistic timelines, and optimal resource allocation.

You'll facilitate accurate and consistent estimation, promoting a shift towards effort-driven estimation (story points) to improve forecasting accuracy, develop detailed Sprint forecasts to provide clear visibility on project progress and develop a three month release plan to enable predictable planning, development, scope management and risk reduction, as well as contributing to longer term strategic goals.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Cambridge twice a week, the office is close to the station and has an onsite gym with 24 hour access.

About you:

  • You have experience as a Software Delivery Manager and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • You have strong project management skills within a software development environment using Jira for reporting
  • You have advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing delivery challenges
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have experience of defining and implementing delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms
