Working primarily in C++, applicants with strong C skills will be considered. The successful Embedded Linux Software Engineer will bring a good academic background to include a minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electronics with a software bias.
Key requirements for the Embedded Linux Software Engineer include:
- C++ development skills or Embedded C with a willingness to learn.
- Strong experience working with Embedded Linux.
- Using Linux build systems such as Yocto or PetaLinux.
- Previous involvement in the set-up / configuration of Embedded Linux systems.
- Exposure to networking protocols.
- 2+ years’ commercial Embedded software development experience.
