Polytec are seeking a skilled System Production Technician to join our west Cambridge based client. This hands-on role involves the assembly, testing, and quality assurance of advanced RF and electronic systems used in mission-critical applications. The position requires precision, technical curiosity, and a commitment to producing high-quality equipment. No formal degree is required - practical experience and a willingness to learn are highly valued.

Responsibilities

* Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems in line with engineering drawings, build notes, and work instructions
* Perform in-process and final inspections in accordance with standard procedures and the organisation's QMS
* Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, enhance yield, and minimise rework
* Provide constructive feedback to production management
* Maintain accurate records of production and testing activities, ensuring logs and databases are kept up to date
* Follow ESD handling requirements and all site safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment

Requirements
