We are seeking a hands-on Catering Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services within a busy environment for our Cambridge based client. You will manage day-to-day operations of a weekday café-style servery, provide catering for internal and external functions and ensure all services meet health, hygiene and financial standards.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily café/servery operations, including breakfast and lunch service
* Manage catering for events such as meetings, seminars and conferences
* Line-manage a catering assistant and supervise event staff
* Maintain budgets, monitor income/expenditure and handle card payments
* Maintain stock levels and ensure equipment is operational
* Cover reception/admin duties when needed
Requirements:
* Minimum GCSE-level education
* Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene (Catering) qualification
* Experience in catering, budgeting and staff supervision
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Confident managing food safety standards and allergen regulations
Desirable:
* Flexible approach to working hours as required to cover functions
