We are working on behalf of a leading consultancy to recruit ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Planners across several UK offices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and highly respected planning team where you'll gain real-world experience from day one, helping deliver a wide range of projects while building your technical and professional skills.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Planner, you will play an integral role in supporting the wider planning team on a variety of applications and development projects. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience and insight across all aspects of the planning process-from research and appraisals to public consultations and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with drafting planning applications, pre-app enquiries, and appeals

  • Undertake planning research and basic appraisals

  • Prepare letters, reports, and supporting documentation

  • Review Local Authority plans and monitor policy developments

  • Attend site visits and assist with community engagement activities

  • Support the preparation of fee proposals and contribute to business development

  • Learn on the job while proactively developing your technical skills

  • Collaborate with team members and provide valuable input on planning projects

  • A degree (or near completion) in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
