We’re working with a Top 150 law from in Cambridge, who are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their hugely-respected Residential Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled legal professional to take ownership of a varied caseload and contribute to a collaborative and client-focused team.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. The position offers autonomy and professional support within a reputable team environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Conduct client meetings and provide sound legal advice
  • Assess legal issues and offer cost estimates
  • Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
  • Handle financial transactions related to property matters
  • Contribute to the development of client relationships
  • Represent the team in business development initiatives
  • Liaise with local and national estate agents
  • Promote wider firm services to clients as appropriate
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Excellent knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Strong drafting and legal research skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to caseload management
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team
  • Strong IT literacy and adaptability with legal software
