An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer to join a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm based in Cambridge. About the Role:As a key member of the Restructuring and Insolvency team, you will work on a diverse portfolio of assignments focused on business recovery and maximising creditor returns. You’ll provide expert legal advice across corporate and personal insolvency law, supporting clients through complex restructuring processes and insolvency proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters
  • Manage both contentious and non-contentious assignments
  • Ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain long-term, commercially valuable client relationships
  • Contribute to the firm’s profile through thought leadership (eg articles, speaking engagements)
  • Meet billing targets and support the financial performance of the team
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues

About You:Looking for a proactive and commercially minded legal professional with:

  • 2+ years PQE in Restructuring and Insolvency
  • Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • A passion for delivering outstanding client service
