This is an exciting opportunity for an Operational Excellence Manager to join an impressive FMCG company. Reporting directly to the Site Lead, this role will play a key part in shaping and delivering operational excellence across the operation.

You will coach and support Shift Managers and engineering teams to ensure manufacturing and packing processes are effective, efficient, and aligned with business goals. You'll drive Lean and CI methodologies to elevate performance, close capability gaps, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Your focus will be on ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality production through the implementation of structured planning, people development, and strong leadership across night shift teams.

You will need to make sure the manufacturing teams are ensuring operational efficiencies are maximised and practices are fit for purpose. You will have to engage key stakeholders to sponsor continuous improvement activity and support a continuous improvement culture.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Experience in an FMCG company in an Operational Excellence, CI or Shift Manager role
* Proven ability to coach and develop leadership teams in a manufacturing setting
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
* Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs - including quality, cost, and delivery
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent practical experience)
* Highly resilient, with a strategic mindset and hands-on leadership approach
