This is a superb opportunity for a Legal Assistant who is looking to for a career in residential conveyancing. This law firm are renowned for harnessing talent and offering career development opportunities and qualifications to go with your legal foundations. The Legal Assistant role is a broad and varied role where you will gain experience of technical legal work whilst also supporting your Partner by working in a team to undertake a crucial business support function.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Legal Assistant:

  • Open client files, undertake diary management and be the first point of contact for clients
  • Conducting all relevant searches i.e. Land Registry, Compliance, Local Authority etc
  • Prepare financial transaction paperwork for partners

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous legal experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary with typing skills
  • The Legal Assistant will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.
  • Previous relevant experience in the residential property sector would be preferable
  • Client (internal and external) facing support experience would be preferred

This is a fulltime role and my client is offering an annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.
