The Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager, on a contract basis, at our Bar Hill depot.  You will be overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and leading a small team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in a warehouse setting to make a significant impact in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse procedures and protocols to optimize efficiency and minimise errors.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
