The successful Maintenance Engineer will carry out both electrical and mechanical service, repair, and maintenance on specialist production equipment, including high-temperature and vacuum-based systems, ensuring production reliability and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.

- Service, maintain, and repair specialist production equipment (including high-temperature and vacuum systems)
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown repairs
- Perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure equipment uptime
- Communicate effectively with internal engineering and production teams
- Proven experience working with industrial equipment such as furnaces, heat treatment, coatings, or similar systems
- Fully qualified on the electrical side (HNC/HND, or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on maintenance experience
- Background in both reactive and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Based in or commutable to Cambridge
