We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable and expanding facilities services company seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support their commercial maintenance contracts across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to join a well-established business working across varied sectors such as education, retail, healthcare, and other commercial premises. The role will involve a mix of reactive and planned maintenance, small mechanical works, and fault finding on a wide range of building services plant and systems.

To be successful in this role, you will hold at least one of the following qualifications:

• Commercial Gas (ACS)

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• OFTEC Certification

• TPCP1 / TPCP1A

• Other recognised mechanical or HVAC-related qualifications

We’re especially keen to speak with candidates who bring versatility across mechanical systems, and can work confidently within commercial environments including schools, hospitals, retail parks, and office buildings.

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance in commercial buildings

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

• Full UK driving licence (required)
