We are working with a well-established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high-volume production site in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a business investing heavily in people, equipment, and long-term growth.

Operating within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a split of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment

• Fault-finding and repairs in a time-critical production environment

• Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering-led initiatives

• Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards

This role operates on a LEN rotating shift pattern:

• 6am – 2pm

• 2pm – 10pm

• 10pm – 6am

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled)

• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments

• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive maintenance approach

• Reliable, flexible, and motivated to develop within a growing organisation

• £39,000 – £46,000 salary (dependent on experience)
