Robert Half are proud to be exclusively partnered with a growing global business in Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. There is a strong likelihood of a permanent opportunity beyond the initial contract period. This role has a budgeted salary of £33000 - £35000 per annum. Candidates are requied in-office 4 days a week initially, with flex down to 3 days after an initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all UK transactions are properly registered and coordinating with subsidiaries to accurately register inter-company transactions

Ensure the reconciliation of intercompany transactions monthly, following the inter-co transfer pricing policy ? Monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting (individual and consolidated)

Prepare reports for investors and the Board - month end packs

Submitting VAT and Corporation Tax returns, in coordination with the Head of Finance and external advisors when needed

Reporting on actuals vs. budgets

Generating the monthly UK payroll calculations in coordination with advisors where needed

Assist with the annual financial auditing process

Ensure proper control of accounts receivables and payables and timely invoicing to customers.

Developing internal and external relationships with the Management Team and subsidiaries' teams, external Advisors and Auditors

Upload and process payments for UK payroll, staff expenses and suppliers

Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

Experience required:

-Currently studying an Accountancy Qualification e.g. CIMA/ACCA/ACA

-Fully qualified AAT members are also encouraged to apply

-Candidates are required to have some experience in supporting month end procedures

-Candidates must be immediately available or on short term notice
