With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for excellence, we are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of housing developments on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Role:
As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee all aspects of the day-to-day site operations. You’ll play a key role in managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the team to achieve build targets while maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the construction site, ensuring smooth daily operations

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades

  • Monitor project progress against programme

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Conduct quality checks and resolve any issues swiftly

  • Communicate effectively with site staff, suppliers, and stakeholders

  • Keep accurate records and site reports

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in residential construction, ideally in a similar role

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification

  • CSCS card

  • First Aid at Work (preferred)

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail
