This is achieved by leveraging years of experience and an extensive range of in-house facilities including specialised tools for design and manufacture of mechanical, electrical, mechatronic and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to identify their requirements and manage projects to ensure customer expectations and specifications and timings are met.
- Investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing projects or components and ways to optimise cost and effectiveness.
- Summarise scientific and engineering principles in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Write technical reports to summarise findings.
- Cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new projects or components.
- Design the detail, materials and functionality of components.
- Use CAD, CAN and CAM systems to design and visualise projects.
- Undertake model making, prototyping and product testing.
- undertake complex calculations to vrify that designs meet safety and functional requirement.
- Communicate effectively with the clients, colleagues and contractors involved in a project and work cooperatively with other members of the team
- Skilled user in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
