We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of an established company in the Cambridge area on a mobile contract. This role is offering a temp to perm contract.Â
- £24-25ph (paid weekly via umbrella)
- Permanent salary: £43k
- Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Temporary to permanentÂ
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding and repair of various mechanical systems
- Working with pumps, motors, HVAC, pneumatics, and fluid systems
- Providing maintenance on plumbing and associated mechanical systems
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring safety standards are met
- Performing scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks across the site
- Assisting in the improvement of site equipment and systems
To be successful as a Mechanical Engineer, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- IPAF certification
- Experience working with pumps, motors, HVAC, pneumatics, plumbing, and fluids
- Previous experience in a mechanical engineering or maintenance role
