You will be joining a market-leading manufacturing business specialising in the production of a wide range of equipment and components used in the aerospace, defence and industrial industries.
The Mechanical Project Engineer will be part of a small team involved in a range of projects, overseeing full life cycles through design, construction, installation, commissioning and handover while ensuring the key deliverables of cost, time and performance are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a variety of projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Work with a range of other teams within the business, from sales, design, shop floor and more.
- Work with stakeholders through effective communication and leadership.
- Creating and maintaining mechanical specifications, drawings and documentation; tender analysis and validation; design and construction review; commissioning and handover.
- Management of project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed before deadlines.
- Budget management

Skills and Experience required:Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
- Experience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar
- AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience required
- A well-organised person who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines at one time.
