Senior Development Engineer - Test rig designSalary: £60k-£70kLocation: CambridgeshireAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands on Development Engineer to join an innovative product development company. You will lead the design and development of bespoke test rigs for advanced electro-mechanical systems.
In this hands-on role, you will play a pivotal part in creating robust and reliable testing environments to ensure the performance, safety, and quality of complex engineering products. You will be involved in the full lifecycle - from design and assembly through to testing and transition into manufacturing.Main Duties:+ Create bespoke test environments+ Perform hands-on testing and experimental work+ Electro-mechanical device assembly and testing+ Lead design verification and reliability testing+ Facilitate transfer to manufactureSkills & Experience:+ Design & build bespoke test rigs+ Previous experience testing electro-mechanical products+ Robust technical analysis and documentation skills+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly+ Proven experience in reliability testing methodologies+ Develop test scriptsIf you’re looking to join a business that values creativity, quality and innovation, then apply with a copy of your CV.
