Morson are recruiting for Airframe Fitters to work with our prestigious client based at Cambridge Airport. The scope of work is to carry out maintenance, modifications and repairs to Lockheed Martin C130 Hercules aircraft structure & mechanical systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation Hercules

Job title: Airframe Fitter
Duration: 6 months rolling contract – long term (3 years worth of work)
Location: Cambridge, CB5 8RX
Start: From January, however later starts available
Hours & Shift Pattern:
5x5x4x pattern, 7am-6pm
Approx. 40 hours a week + overtime
£27.97 PAYE / £38.48 UMBRELLA


Actively support, promote and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure that progressive gains in efficiency are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or a relevant higher education qualification
Experience of Engineering within a maintenance environment
The ability to work individually as well as within a team across all functions on site, demonstrating a proactive and flexible attitude and supporting business targets and Company goals
You must have an eye for _Continuous Improvement”
Attention to detail and be self-motivated
Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with good teamwork & communication skills
GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
Good knowledge of H & S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
Structural repairs experience preferable
Electrical Qualification advantageous but not essential.
