Job Description:

Reed are looking for a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a dynamic team at a primary school in Cambourne, West Cambridge. This full-time position starts in September, with working hours from 08:30 to 15:30. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. You would be joining a fantastic team supported by a strong and supportive SLT team, the school are looking for a compassionate teacher who meets their overall ethos which is to provide a safe and enriching environment where all pupils are able to thrive. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum, with a focus on core subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum, particularly core subjects.
  • Strong behavioural and classroom management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • UK address and right to work.
  • Availability to start from September.
