Are you an experienced assessor and internal quality assurer with a strong background in apprenticeship and vocational training?

Do you want to lead on driving high standards, quality improvement, and compliance across work-based learning programmes?

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring exceptional standards across apprenticeship provision. You'll lead on internal quality assurance (IQA), mentor and develop assessors, support curriculum innovation, and play a key role in employer engagement and learner success.

You will manage Trainer Assessors, coordinate End Point Assessments, and maintain robust audit and compliance trails to satisfy awarding bodies and drive continual improvement. You'll also act as a liaison with employers and awarding bodies to ensure every learner journey is delivered to the highest standard.

The Role:


  • Lead IQA processes and ensure awarding body compliance

  • Manage and mentor Trainer Assessors and IQAs

  • Coordinate EPA and EQA activity

  • Drive quality improvements across apprenticeship programmes

  • Support curriculum development and employer engagement


The Person:


  • Holds a Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent)

  • Holds an IQA qualification

  • Experienced in quality monitoring and work-based learning

  • Has recent experience in assessing and vocational teaching

  • Excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards and compliance
