The requirements of the Workshop Supervisor will be:
  • The Workshop Supervisor will effectively plan and organise workshop activities, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and in line with process
  • Day to day management of Workshop team, identifying any training gaps and actioning performance management
  • Develop and guide apprentices through hands on mentoring
  • Regular review of process and working practices, streamline/improve where necessary
  • Ensure a high level of Health and Safety are in place at all times
The ideal candidate for Workshop Supervisor will have:
  • Experience as a time served engineer with a formal apprenticeship in Construction Plant or similar
  • Experience within Construction, Heavy Plant, Agriculture, Commercial Vehicles or similar industries
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent technical understanding of machinery
  • High levels of organisational skills
