An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager with experience in highways and transport to join a busy client in Cambridgeshire.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is 拢300 per day. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Role Requirements:
路Provide leadership support within the Project Delivery Highways Service team to ensure the effective delivery of projects that improve the transport infrastructure network.
路Provide advice on highway engineering, project and programme management, procurement, community engagement and delivery of the improvements of the transport infrastructure network.
路Provide and prepare detailed technical reports in a timely and efficient manner ensuring at all times clarity, engagement with stakeholders, and clear requirements of project details, timings and delivery requirements.
路Direct, guide and manage project delivery to ensure that objectives are delivered for the project to a high quality, forecast delivery times and budget targets.
路Lead on key aspects of project expertise within the Project Delivery Highways
路Service for commissioned projects in order to ensure the highest level of knowledge, experience and expertise are used in resolving issues and enquiries.

Experience Required:
路Must have experience delivering capital projects and understand the project lifecycle of low-medium complexity highway improvement projects
路Must have at least 3yrs experience working in Highways & Transport in a similar role.
路Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for site visits.
