A Carpentry/trade background Project manager is required to work on a full time, permanent basis, on behalf of a privately owned Main Contractor that specialises in small work projects, up to £2.5M. 

Coming from a carpentry background, you will be required to run several small works jobs that typically take the form of domestic extensions, from upwards of £250K as well as working on the refurbishment of student accommadation(s) for The Colleges, in terms of Cambridge University. Liaising with Site Management teams, and reporting to the owner, you will be responsible for ensuring an on time and to budget finish, with zero H&S accidents.

The Company in question has been trading for some 30 years, is privately owned and offers strictly local work to the Cambridge area, which is particularly important in todays market. A high percentage of their woprk is on a repeat work basis, coupled with long standing relationships with suppliers & Sub-contractors.
