We're working with a well-established civil engineering contractor on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to oversee schemes across the Eastern region, covering the Cambridge and Peterborough areas. The role offers the chance to lead on a mix of challenging and high-impact infrastructure projects highways schemes.
This is a great opportunity for a proven leader in the civils space who enjoys delivering technically complex projects while nurturing and developing teams around them.

What you'll be doing:
路Leading site teams, operatives and subcontractors to deliver schemes safely and to programme
路Preparing and implementing project documentation - including method statements, risk assessments and management plans
路Monitoring contract performance against programme and budget
路Working closely with clients and consultants, maintaining strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of the project
路Overseeing design coordination and liaising with technical teams
路Supporting commercial teams with subcontractor assessment and procurement
路Mentoring and developing junior staff members and engineers
路Championing health, safety, quality and environmental standards across the board

What we're looking for:
路A Project Manager with a strong civils background
路Excellent people and communication skills
路Comfortable managing change, deadlines, and subcontract packages
路A relevant civil engineering qualification (HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent)
路Valid SMSTS and CSCS
路First Aid at Work (preferred but not essential)
路Right to work in the UK
