With deep ties to the local community and a hands-on approach, it consistently delivers homes that reflect the needs of Cambridge and its surrounding areas.Your new roleDue to an upturn in work they are now looking for a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-end residential schemes. As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing project costs and procurement processes, ensuring financial efficiency from start to finish. A solid grasp of construction practices and cost control is essential.Duties to include:

  • Source and procure subcontractor and supplier packages.
  • Track and manage project costs to maintain budgetary control.
  • Prepare tender documentation and assist in contractor and supplier selection.
  • Negotiate favourable terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and budget adherence.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial and construction goals.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in the residential construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
