We're working with a leading civils contractor with a strong track record of delivery across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Eastern Region team. Based out of their office near Cambridge, you'll play a key role in delivering a portfolio of Environment Agency works - including flood defence, river works, and infrastructure upgrades.

What You'll Be Doing:
路Overseeing cost control and commercial reporting across multiple live projects
路Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff as part of team development
路Preparing estimates and managing procurement of subcontractors
路Assessing and certifying interim and final payments to subcontractors
路Identifying risk and implementing effective control measures
路Managing contract variations and working closely with the client to resolve changes
路Supporting dispute resolution documentation where required
路Ensuring work aligns with company procedures and all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental standards

What We're Looking For:
路Strong experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
路Track record delivering civil engineering projects - ideally including highways, structures, flood protection, and/or river works
路Proficiency with NEC contracts - this is essential
路Excellent numeracy, IT and commercial reporting skills
路Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach
路Ability to think innovatively and solve problems in a fast-paced setting
