Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading main contractor in the social housing sector, who are seeking a dedicated and proactive Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support their ongoing maintenance project.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a meaningful initiative focused planned maintenance. As the vital link between residents, site teams, and the client, your role will ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the refurbishment and retrofit process.
Key Responsibilities for the Resident Liaison Officer
- Booking appointments and coordinating schedules efficiently
- Acting as the first point of contact for resident queries, complaints, and concerns
- Maintaining accurate property records and assisting with validation and satisfaction surveys
- Facilitating effective communication between residents, contractors, and stakeholders
- Promoting a positive relationship with residents and minimising disruption during works
- Supporting project delivery through a strong understanding of occupied properties and H&S practices
Requirements:
- 12+ months experience as a Resident Liaison Officer is essential
- Strong working knowledge of occupied refurbishment or decarbonisation / retrofit processes
- Solid understanding of health & safety in a construction or social housing environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident IT user, with the ability to adapt to on-site working
- A full UK driving license is required
