Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading main contractor in the social housing sector, who are seeking a dedicated and proactive Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support their ongoing maintenance project.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a meaningful initiative focused planned maintenance. As the vital link between residents, site teams, and the client, your role will ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout the refurbishment and retrofit process.

Key Responsibilities for the Resident Liaison Officer

  • Booking appointments and coordinating schedules efficiently
  • Acting as the first point of contact for resident queries, complaints, and concerns
  • Maintaining accurate property records and assisting with validation and satisfaction surveys
  • Facilitating effective communication between residents, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Promoting a positive relationship with residents and minimising disruption during works
  • Supporting project delivery through a strong understanding of occupied properties and H&S practices

Requirements:

  • 12+ months experience as a Resident Liaison Officer is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of occupied refurbishment or decarbonisation / retrofit processes
  • Solid understanding of health & safety in a construction or social housing environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confident IT user, with the ability to adapt to on-site working
  • A full UK driving license is required
