Polytec is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our client's dynamic team based in Cambridge. This hands-on role involves supporting the production, testing, and repair of high-performance Bluetooth test equipment used across innovative technology projects.

Working hours can be flexible and tailored to your schedule but must be consistent each week.

Responsibilities:
* Building, calibrating, quality control and shipping of test equipment
* Testing and validation of Bluetooth test equipment to ensure compliance and standards are met
* PCB troubleshooting and repair, including surface mount soldering
* Maintenance of records of test procedures, results and equipment maintenance
* Supporting product development through working collaboratively with the Production Manager and other team members
* Inventory management
* Compliance to all safety protocols

Requirements:
* Experience working as a Lab Technician or similar within an electronics or technology-based environment
* Understanding of electronic components and circuits
* Experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analysers etc.)
* Surface mount soldering
* PCB Assembly
* Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting
* Highly organised and strong attention to detail
* Basic computer literacy and proficiency in data entry and analysis
* Strong communication skills and a passion for constant learning
