The school is committed to delivering outstanding education within a supportive and inclusive environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September to provide PPA cover throughout the week.

The RoleAs a HLTA, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) during teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced practitioner to take a proactive role in pupils' learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, planned lessons across KS1 and KS2

  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development

  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure consistency in learning

  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum

  • Experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils

  • Excellent behaviour management skills

  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Proof of right to work in the UK and a UK-based address
