Deputy Home Manager required for a modern, purpose built care home in Cambridgeshire, the home provide residential care for elderly frail and those living with dementia.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the overall day to day management of the care home. Specifically you will develop action plans to effectively improve the standards of care and the overall quality of the home.

The focus of this position is most definitely position "care and quality", you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care is being delivered to meet the needs of each and every resident and you will be tasked with continually monitoring these and cultivating a culture of continuous development and improvement.

To apply for this position you must have / be:

  • NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Substantial experience of managing staff in a Care Home or similar environment with prior knowledge of working in a dementia unit or dementia home.
  • Flexibility to alternate working patterns, including weekend working, providing cover, and attending emergencies outside of normal working hours, assisting the Registered Manager by leading the Care Team while taking overall responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Salary:

  • 43,000pa
  • Core working hours Mon-Fri (flexible approach to working hours is required)
  • Minimum 28 days annual leave
