Simply Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a welcoming secondary school in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs.
Assist teaching staff in delivering tailored learning activities.
Support students with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar settings).
A patient, nurturing, and supportive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine interest in supporting students with a range of learning needs.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required (or willingness to apply for one through Simply Education).
