Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Cambridge.

Role Purpose

  • Act as a primary contact for accommodation and welfare for international students.
  • Ensure student well-being and social needs are met throughout their stay.
  • Support ESOL admissions, visa applications, and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage homestay placements in line with safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all welfare and accommodation issues for international students.
  • Maintain and update databases for accommodation and student records.
  • Support and monitor safeguarding concerns, liaising with college support services when appropriate.
  • Organise and oversee a social programme for international students, including transport and activities.
  • Assist with international admissions and maintain compliance with UKVI regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience working in accommodation, welfare, or international student support.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding, health and safety, and UK visa procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as part of a rota.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity.
  • Right to work in the UK.
