We are working with a software company based in Cambridge who are looking to an Applications Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and support to the sales team at all stages of the sales process
  • Working with customers on the phone and in person
  • Conducting training courses
  • Creating and delivering product demonstrations at customer meetings
  • Working collaboratively with developers and other application engineers
  • Being present at conferences across the UK

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A strong mathematical and physics background
  • Experience with chemical physics
  • An aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Willingness to learn and expand existing knowledge
