Software Engineer
Location: Cambridge聽
Type: Full-Time聽(on site - flexible hours)
Salary: circa 拢40k
Our client designs and manufactures hardware and software principally for use by researchers world-wide in the field of neuroscience, pharmacology and engineering.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a background in C++ in a Windows environment using MFC and stl.
You will be part of a small team of programmers producing and enhancing Windows applications for use in scientific research. This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.聽
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Producing and maintaining Windows based applications聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Provide support for customers using their software聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Liaise with third party companies in order to interface the software with their hardware.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Liaise with third party companies in order to import their files into our client's software.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Working with the sales team to identify which direction to take the software development and which new features to prioritise.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽At least 2 years experience in C++ using MFC and stl.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽BEng/BSc in Computer science聽
Desirable Skills:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Knowledge of the field of neuroscience.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience in embedded systems programming particularly with ARM architecture.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience with Matlab
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Knowledge of Python
