I'm currently recruiting for a mid-level Software Engineer to join a market-leading renewables business based in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking tech team working on impactful, global-scale solutions within one of the most important industries of our time.

The company is growing steadily and investing heavily in its digital platforms, and as part of that growth, they're looking for a developer to support the delivery of a cutting-edge property management platform. This system will be rolled out to global clients and is a key component of their long-term digital strategy.

?? Tech Stack & Role Requirements:

We're looking for someone with a strong core skillset who can contribute from day one. You don't need to tick every box, but the more of the following you bring, the better:

  • PHP development experience, ideally using frameworks like Symfony or Laravel

  • Solid frontend development skills using JavaScript

  • Good working knowledge of SQL and relational database design

  • Experience deploying or working with cloud platforms - AWS or Azure

  • A proactive mindset, with an ability to solve problems and communicate well with both technical and non-technical colleagues

? Working Setup & Culture:
  • Hybrid working model - you'll be in the Cambridgeshire office 2 to 3 days per week during the first couple of months for onboarding and team integration. After that, you'll shift to just 1 day a week in the office.

  • A modern, collaborative working environment with a down-to-earth, mission-driven team

  • Clear progression opportunities within a stable and growing business

  • The chance to work on meaningful products with a real-world sustainability impact

?? What's in it for you?
  • Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience

  • Work on green technology and digital products with real global impact

  • Be part of a close-knit, supportive development team where your input is valued

  • Access to modern tools, flexible working, and ongoing learning opportunities

If you're looking for a role where you can build high-quality software, grow professionally, and contribute to a more sustainable future, this could be a great next step.
