SEN Teaching Assistant – (Learning disabilities and Autism) needed!

We work closely with a special educational needs (SEN) school, located in central Cambridge, by supply Teaching Assistant's on short term and long term supply contracts.  

Starting from ASAP, the school are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join them on a contract basis.

The School:

  • Caters for children with learning disabilities and autism

  • Provide a bespoke education plan for each individual child

  • Provides regular, on-going and specialist training

The Role (SEN Teaching Assistant):

  • Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Developing each child educationally, socially and emotionally
  • No two days will be the same
  • Full and part time options available 
  • Often leads to permanent opportunity 
  • You decide which days you are available and wish to work 
  • Paid weekly 

What you will need:

  • Experience working with special educational needs (children or adults)
  • People with experience in care are also very successful at this school
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Understanding that each child will require an individual approach and support plan
  • Good team work and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this)
