- Monitoring and supporting learners who require additional help—particularly those with identified needs or those at risk of falling behind.
- Contributing to a dynamic personal development programme that equips young people with essential life and employability skills.
- Promoting the use of inclusive tools and technologies, such as assistive software and reading aids, to enhance student independence.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support professionals, and families to build a strong, joined-up support system.
- Helping shape enrichment opportunities that develop students’ wellbeing, life skills, and community involvement.
- Supporting the induction and mentoring of new team members, and contributing to team learning and development activities.
- Experience working with young people in education, youth services, or a similar support setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding, support frameworks like EHCPs, and how to work with learners with varied needs.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to motivate and build trust with diverse individuals.
- Confidence in using digital tools to support learning, with a willingness to explore new technology.
- A collaborative approach, flexibility, and a proactive mindset focused on student success.
