Job Description:

Reed are currently working alongside a fantastic primary school based in Dry Drayton who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team in West Cambridge. This is a full-time position starting from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 5 students, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent behavioural and classroom management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN.
  • UK address and right to work.
