A welcoming and inclusive special school in the CB22 area of Cambridge is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives on helping children with special educational needs reach their full potential in a nurturing, structured environment.

The Role:
  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, MLD, SEMH and communication difficulties
  • Adapt curriculum content to suit individual learning needs and EHCP targets
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Monitor progress and provide regular, tailored feedback
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN (mainstream or special school)
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated planning and inclusive practice
  • Patience, creativity, and strong behaviour management strategies
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
