Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Longstanton (ASD, MLD & SLD Provision)
TimePlan Education is seeking a caring, resilient, and committed full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Longstanton, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to students with Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and other additional needs.
About the role
In this full-time position, you will work as part of an experienced and supportive team, helping pupils access learning, develop life skills, and build confidence. Responsibilities include:
One-to-one and small-group support for students with ASD, MLD, SLD and associated needs
Assisting with structured learning activities and communication support
Supporting pupils with sensory needs, emotional regulation and behaviour
Helping to maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet EHCP targets

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (ASD, MLD, SLD or complex needs highly desirable)

Reliable transport is highly desirable due to school location
