BR12 - Service Technician (Fire Alarms)

Salary - £28,000

Overview:
We are recruiting for a junior fire alarm service technician based in the East Midlands/East Anglia. This role will involve remote working so applicants should be self motivated and capable to work independently to a high standard. This role will cover the following locations, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.

Job Role:

  • Works are scheduled by our office and information is provided to you via a works app.
  • Pre-scheduled works will include the testing, maintenance, modification, and installation of commissioned fire equipment.
  • Delivering end user training for equipment and facilities.
  • All reports, past and present are accessible via the works app, all testing results are then updated to the app by technicians.
  • Technicians will engage in face to face and telephone communication
  • 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota

Essential:

  • Punctual, Organised and Strong communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with both colleagues and clients in a professional manor.
  • Attention to detail, diligent record keeping and effective risk management.
  • A background in fire safety or electrical maintenance is beneficial but not imperative, as on the job training and qualifications are available.
