Established Public Sector Law Firm in Bedfordshire are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to work on a full-time, hybrid basis. The firm offers enhanced pension, generous holiday allowance, condensed working arrangements plus more.
 
Based in Bedfordshire but with the possibility of working at one of the firms’ other offices in Northamptonshire or Cambridgeshire, this is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer to utilise their Employment skills within a busy team. You will have a client-focused approach and handle a wide range of employment matters.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Handling a wide caseload of employment matters
  • Liaising with clients
  • TUPE
  • Tribunals and appeals
  • Advising on employment contracts
  • Disciplinary matters
  • Trade union matters
  • Whistleblowing and grievances

The Candidate:
 

  • Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executives with a minimum of 1 years’ PQE
  • Technical proficiency in employment matters
  • Outstanding client care skills
  • Strives for high standards in their work
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • A strong communicator able to explain matters in clear, accessible language
  • Personable and professional
