Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Management Accountant to support the activity of an outstanding manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working closely with a Financial Controller and be capable of producing management accounts, reports and coordinating business controls in a production or technical organisation.
Outside of the reporting cycle you will be playing a key business partnering role , developing cost centres and working on business and process improvement projects.
As a Management Accountant your role will involve:

- Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the monthly Management accounts.
- Monitor accruals/prepayments
- Intrastat sales and purchases
- Carry out random checks on completion of sales dispatch notes
- Carry out random stock counts
- Supplier rebates
- Year end reporting liaise with auditors/tax
- Analyse overheads
- Various month end group reporting
- Agree inter-company balances
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure stocktake procedures followed
- VAT
- ONS returns
- P11D reports
- Barclaycard analysis
- Monitor Duty/VAT on imports
- Create and update ‘chart of accounts to reflect management activities.
- Monthly R D reports
- Provide support to the accounts staff.
