About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for those with classroom experience who are passionate about education and confident in delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in Key Stages 3 and 4

- Provide support and ensure continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence

To be considered for the role of Experienced cover supervisor you will:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
- A confident, professional and adaptable approach
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for supporting young people in education
- A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
