Design Engineer

This is an outstanding band new positionfor a mechanical design engineer to join a small verysuccessful and highly innovative manufacturer of high security entry and access systems.

This position offers enormous potential for future development and personal career growth.

• Our client has developed a unique range of high security entry and access systems, and now require a mechanical design engineer to help further develop the product applications and potential.
• With a degree in mechanical engineering or similar and in in-depth understanding of CAD, ideally Solidworks, you will be able to visualize and communicate theoretical models and design for various applications.
• The design engineer although mechanically biased would benefit from having an understanding electrical systems as well, however this is not essential.
• You would be involved in brand new projects as part of a team but also working independently from design stage as well as being the lead design engineer for new applications.
• The mechanical design engineer would be involved in the whole concept from design, through to product development, production and testing, which would include travel to the manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia.
• This is a very exciting new opportunity to help further develop this highly successful business, with "all stages" involvement, collaborating with all departments through to the successful completion of developing new and approved products for use.
