We are seeking a professional Occupational Hygiene Consultant in the Midlands region. The role is within an independent Environmental Consultancy, who are rapidly growing their client base. Applicants must have existing industry experience and a hardworking, switched-on attitude. You will be travelling to client sites to undertake workplace and environmental assessments and providing tailored technical recommendations. Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Must hold BOHS qualifications, such as: W503, 201, 502, 504, 506 and / or 507
- It would be advantageous to hold the BOHS P600, P601 and / or P602
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT proficiency
- Flexible to attend client meetings on site
- Good interpersonal skills
The Role:
- Undertaking inspections, sampling, testing and risk assessments across a variety of client sites
- Auditing to assess: noise, dust, fume, lev, air quality and vibration
- Producing bespoke reports for clients, advising on found issues and making recommendations
- Completing COSHH assessments
- Logging samples and assessment findings
- Attending client sites to establish new contracts and provide technical feedback
- Maintaining work equipment
- Completing method statements
- Fostering strong working relationships with clients
